- Designing measures to protect investor and shareholder interests.
- Ensuring transparent, fair, and efficient operations.
- Overseeing financial, administrative, and HR functions, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Representing the organization before regulatory bodies and relevant stakeholders including the Board.
- Forming committees for internal management functions.
- Leading initiatives on targeted financial and non-financial training and awareness programs for diverse stakeholders, including investors, capital market participants, employees, and associations covering essential areas such as financial literacy, capital markets, and ESG frameworks, these programs empower informed and responsible decision-making across the ecosystem.
Strategic and Managerial Responsibilities:
- Lead the organization as a demutualized and self-regulated organization under applicable acts, rules, and regulations.
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to position the organization as a globally competitive exchange, professionalizing and stabilizing the organization.
- Formulate and execute short, medium, and long-term action plans aligned with the organization’s objectives.
- Demonstrate leadership in a challenging environment, guiding the organization’s transformation and innovation trajectory.
- Increase shareholder value through strategic decision-making and long-term financial stability.
- Identify new revenue streams, manage costs, and enhance financial sustainability.
- Propose strategic recommendations to the Board on planning, policy, and decision-making.
Product, Technology, and Business Development:
- Drive development of services and products, such as listings, sponsor support, and market participant services.
- Oversee market automation and support initiatives to increase securities market liquidity.
- Expand the organization’s market opportunities and form alliances with prominent local and global organizations.
- Build the organization’s brand by enhancing cash flow and maintaining a human-centered approach.
- Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring the organization is well-represented in the media.
