Role Overview
With a 110+ member team in Bangladesh, our team plays a critical role in supporting UK operations by ensuring timely, high-quality service delivery. We are seeking a highly organized, people-focused HR Operations Director to oversee human resources operations, employee discipline, and workforce efficiency across our client’s Bangladesh team. The role will place strong emphasis on attendance management, payroll accuracy, compliance and employee engagement, while also ensuring smooth collaboration with the UK leadership team.

This role is ideal for an HR professional with operational leadership experience who can balance people management, compliance, and performance accountability within a remote-first setup.

Key Responsibilities
HR & People Management
• Lead and oversee all HR operations, including attendance, payroll, leave management, and compliance.
• Implement and monitor attendance systems to minimize irregularities and ensure fairness.
• Maintain accurate employee records (contracts, compensation, overtime, leave, performance).
• Ensure HR policies are effectively communicated and consistently applied across the team.
• Drive a culture of accountability, professionalism, and employee engagement.
• Support recruitment and onboarding processes as required.

Employee Compliance & Workforce Discipline
• Ensure adherence to company policies, working hours, and remote work protocols.
• Provide guidance and corrective actions on employee performance, attendance, and policy violations.
• Maintain compliance with local labor laws and global company standards.

Operational & Cross-Border Collaboration
• Act as the HR and operations bridge between the Bangladesh team and UK leadership.
• Supervise day-to-day HR operations ensuring smooth workforce functioning and timely delivery.
• Facilitate effective two-way communication of goals, expectations, and feedback.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting
• Track team performance and attendance metrics, and identify areas for improvement.
• Design and implement HR reporting dashboards and regular operational reports.
• Provide insights, highlight risks, and recommend solutions to leadership.

Ideal Candidate Profile
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in HR operations, employee relations, or people management, ideally with exposure to large teams.
• Strong knowledge of HR operations: attendance, payroll, compliance, and workforce management.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures.
• Hands-on leader with a proactive, solution-oriented, and structured approach.
• Comfortable working in a remote-first environment with distributed teams.
• Prior experience in BPO, service delivery, or recruitment support industries preferred but not mandatory.
